THE DHARMA OF WAKING UP & GROWING UP

7 Days of Waking Up & Growing Up

There is a profound shift happening in contemporary Dharma. A new turning of the wheel is emerging — one that honors the ancient pathways of awakening while fully embracing the psychological, relational, and developmental wisdom of the modern world.

Your Guides

In this unique retreat, Zen teacher Diane Musho Hamilton Roshi and Vipassana teacher Miles Kessler weave together their decades of experience in meditation, shadow work, emotional maturity, and Integral Practice.
As lineage holders in thier respective traditions, together, they will guide you into the dual path of Waking Up (accessing the deeper meditative states) and Growing Up (the vertical stages of adult development that shape how awakening expresses itself).

This Retreat Explores:

  • Daily silent sitting in Zen and Vipassana traditions
  • Dyadic inquiry to clarify perception, reveal shadow, and deepen connection
  • Emotional & energetic transmutation, including flow states and somatic embodiment
  • Awakening vs. Ego Maturation, understanding the difference — and how to integrate them
  • Compassion practices to expand presence, warmth, and care

This Retreat Offers

This retreat offers a rare opportunity to step into a Dharma that is both timeless and fully alive in the complexity of the modern world.
Participants will gain deeper access to ever-present awareness, greater emotional resilience, expanded compassion, and a more integrated expression of awakening in daily life.

Our Invitation:

If you feel called to a Dharma that includes everything — the stillness of meditation, the complexity of relationships, the brilliance of insight, and the growth edges of your humanity — we welcome you.

Your Invitation to Join Us

Dear Friends,

We are happy to invite you to our “4th Turning Retreat — The Dharma of Waking Up and Growing Up,” taking place October 4–11, 2026, at the beautiful Moulin de Chaves meditation center in Cubjac, France.

If you...

  • Feel the pull toward deeper practice…

  • Want to bring awakening and emotional maturity into fuller alignment…

  • Long for a practice that is both still and alive, solitary and relational, transcendent and embodied…

Then this retreat was created for you.

Together we will sit in silence, inquire in pairs, explore emotional fluidity, integrate shadow, and discover the Dharma as it appears in our bodies, relationships, and moment-to-moment experience.

There is something uniquely powerful about practicing in community — supported by teachers grounded in lineage, presence, and developmental wisdom.

If your intuition says yes, we would be honored to practice with you.

With care,
Diane & Miles
