Cutting Through The Spiritual Bypass
If you meditate regularly, there’s a very good chance you’re also spiritually bypassing — without even realizing it.
Most meditators don’t realize they’re spiritually bypassing. Not because they lack insight — but because bypassing is subtle, seductive, and socially reinforced.
Spiritual bypassing arises when we use spiritual practices to avoid difficult emotions, interpersonal challenges, or the messy realities of life.
It creates a split: one part of us feels “elevated,” while another part remains unintegrated.
This workshop will help you close that gap.
What You'll Learn In This Workshop
Why We Need To Integrate The Profound And The Profane
Recognizing The Spiritual Bypass As Avodiance
"Shadow" And Its Relationship To Spiritual Practice
Healthy Transcendence vs. Unhealthy Transcendence
The "Dualization" Of Non-Duality
Integrating Meditative Grace Into The Totality Of Your Life

What Miles' Students Are Saying...
”
With a lot of humor, Miles took us into the world of Buddhist Psychology. He made this potentially "mindy" subject light, fun, and from the heart. He embodies mindful attitudes to the maximum. It was a great training!
- Jeanne, Belgium | SeeTrue Mindfulness Teacher Training Participant
”
Miles' style of instruction is ideal. He makes things easy to understand, but complex enough for experienced students as well. He is an endless resource and inspiration.
- Amber Adams, Los Angeles, Ca.
”
Miles' teaching is both profound and simple because it is based on his own true understanding of the Dharma. It has given me the skills to connect with and explore my own inner awareness and freedom."
